Cholesterol oxidase from Streptomyces sp.

Cholesterol oxidase from Streptomyces sp. Cholesterol + O2 ----> Choleste-4-en-3-one + H2O2 This enzyme is used for enzymatic determination of cholesterol when coupled with cholesterol esterase in clinical analysis.
